These Terms of Use apply to your use of brooki.ae (the "Website") and to any purchase of Brooki products in the United Arab Emirates. The Website is operated by Brooki Global LLC-FZ, trading as BROOKI Bakehouse UAE, of PO Box 644753, Meydan Free Zone, Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Brooki", "we", "us"). By using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. About the Website
The Website gives information about Brooki cookies, flavours, prices and locations in the UAE. We do not take payment for food orders on the Website. Online orders are placed through Deliveroo, Noon, Careem and Talabat, and in-person purchases are made at our stores and pop-ups.
2. Orders through Deliveroo, Noon, Careem and Talabat
When you order Brooki cookies for delivery, you order through the Deliveroo, Noon, Careem or Talabat app or website. Your order, payment, delivery times, cancellations and refunds are handled by the delivery platform you order through and are governed by that platform's own terms and policies, in addition to these Terms. If there is a problem with your order, please contact that platform first. You can also email us at orders@brookibakehouse.ae and we will do our best to help.
3. Store and pop-up purchases
Purchases at our stores and pop-ups are made at the prices displayed at the point of sale. Opening dates, hours and pop-up locations shown on the Website may change; please check the Find us page before you visit.
4. Prices and VAT
Prices on the Website are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate. Prices on Deliveroo, Noon, Careem and Talabat may differ from prices shown on the Website and may include delivery and service fees set by those platforms. We may change our prices and product range at any time.
5. Product information, allergens and dietary requirements
We take care to describe our products accurately, but photos are for illustration and cookies are handmade, so size and appearance can vary. All our cookies contain gluten and some contain nuts. Our kitchens handle a range of allergens, so we cannot guarantee any product is free from them. Please read our allergens matrix before ordering, and contact us if you have any questions. Our cookies are halal friendly but not halal certified.
6. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its implementing regulations, or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. If a product you buy from us is not of acceptable quality, please contact us as soon as possible at orders@brookibakehouse.ae, with your order details and a photo where possible, so we can put it right.
7. Using the Website
You agree to use the Website lawfully and not to: interfere with its security or operation; copy, scrape or reuse its content for commercial purposes; post or send any content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes anyone's rights; or use it in a way that breaches the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes or any other applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
The BROOKI name, logos, recipes, photography, text and all other content on the Website belong to Brooki or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
9. Email sign-up and marketing
If you join our email list (the "cookie club"), we will send you news about flavours, pop-ups and openings. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
11. Third-party links
The Website links to third-party sites and apps, including Deliveroo, Noon, Careem, Talabat and social media. We are not responsible for their content, policies or services, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, including delivery services provided by third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UAE law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you use the Website applies.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, without affecting any right you have as a consumer to bring a complaint to the relevant UAE consumer protection authority.
